The projects first publication accepted by Molecular Cancer Therapeutics in Feb 2008 with not less than 4 more publications ready or have been submitted to various journals.
Successfully completed the Drosophila Synthetic Lethal Screens with newly discovered data, which may translate into new therapies and diagnostic test that may determine if Mitotane will affect a tumors response.
Accepted to present at AACR and ASCO 2009. The only Adrenal Cancer presentations accepted at both international meetings.
Two (2) provisional patents filed for a novel genomic profiling technology and added many more experienced team members. TGen is an Affymetrix Center of Excellence and Extensive expertise in Agilent Expression and CGH. Chosen as Model dataset for integration of Genomic and Expression data project.
The project is introducing two(2) Phase 1 trials over the next several weeks.

Tissue Bank
47 frozen adrenocortical cancer samples , 22 frozen benign samples and 6 Paraffin, 22 frozen normal adrenals. In addition, 24 adrenal cancer, benign, and normal samples are scheduled to arrive from a new collaboration in Australia. A large initiative is being developed to collect banked and prospective adrenal cancer's through surgical societies.

Funding
Over $1,000,000.00 in foundation funds and pledges as of year end 2008 for Adrenocortical Carcinoma research. NIH and State grants in preparation and submitted with large Foundation gifts continually in the works and Annual Fund raisers and personal contributions.
